Our Story

Having begun as Carlyle Lake Resort, we’ve been known as White Bear Lake Resort since 1974. White Bear Lake has been historically know as a community focus destination that balances natural beauty with accessible recreational living.

We’ve grown over the decades to accommodate cabins and seasonal homes while maintaining our natural character – treed lots, varied landscapes, and a sense of privacy that sets us apart. Today, White Bear Lake operates as a non-profit organization, leasing land to residents and supporting a welcoming, long-term growing community.
